It's been a rough couple of weeks! I was supposed to start my major training 2 weeks ago and well let's just say it has not happened! I've been so overwhelmed with our new gluten-free eating, my 11 month old is not sleeping through the night and running the kids everywhere is just put me over my "what I can handle" point. I know many of you have "been there and done that", so I know I will survive, but it can be hard when you're actually experiencing it.
I did one spin workout last week on wednesday while my son was at scouts. I went with a friend, she ran while I was spinning. She was great motivation towards the end, I was getting so tired. That was the extent of my exercising. Truthfully I feel unmotivated. I'm taking on a huge task of a half ironman and still trying to be a good mom and wife. Difficult, but achievable!
So here it is, let's just realize that life happens. Kids will get sick, you will get sick, your period may be wretched, you may go over budget, your kids will drive you to looneyville, whatever it may be...it will happen.
Pushing through and not beating yourself up is the difference between success and failure.
Let's get focused! I'm not going Pro, I just want to finish and be proud of what I've accomplished.
It's time for the "big girl panties" to come out. Get yours out too and let's get moving!
